Is your distribution rate calculated based on what percentage of your published articles get "Chosen For Further Distribution"?

I haven't calculated those stats for myself. But I have been tracking my overally monthly readership stats, using the formula identified by Argumentative Penguin. Here has been the ebb-and-flow of my stats for the past ten months:

November 2021: 50.4%

December 2021: 42.6%

January 2022: 39.4%

February 2022: 46.4%

March 2022: 32.1%

April 2022: 39.1%

May 2022: 41.2%

June 2022: 42.2%

July 2022: 36.4%

August 2022: 35.1%

It makes me utterly depressed, which is why I rarely bother to check my stats for individual articles.
