It's like when I hear offensive gay jokes while watching my old DVDs of "Gilmore Girls"...

I find them to be cheap and in bad taste...but I look at it as a reflection of the times (the early-to-mid aughts)...sort of like a time capsule showing us things that we should no longer say. And I can still enjoy the characters (and their patterns of fun humor) for who they are, despite that.
