It's "transgender people"...not "transgenders" (as a plural noun). "Transgender" is a descriptor, not a noun.

Now, you do raise some intriguing questions here, Nicole. Who gets to be the arbiter of EVERYONE ELSE'S racial identity? I've heard people claim that you are "White" if your racial/ethnic heritage is from Iran or India or Egypt...but, apparently, not if it's from China or the Sudan. I've heard people claim that being Latino is an offshoot of whiteness, whereas others claim it's more closely linked with an Indigenous racial/ethnic identity.

So who gets to draw these "geographic lines of whiteness"...???
