I've also seen the term "Xennials" referring to those of us who straddle the blurry period of years where Gen X is just ending and Gen Y is just beginning.

Every period throughout history has (or will have) "subgenerations" that fall in-between the broader cohorts. Hopefully, when we fall into these subgenerations, we can become ambassadors/liaisons between those who are 10-15 years older than us and those who are 10-15 years younger than us.

We'll probably see similar dynamics for those age ranges who fall on the cusp of Gen Y and Gen Z -- as well as those who fall on the cusp of Gen Z and Gen AA, once they get older.
