I've literally seen dads out in public with their kids, and witnessed women reacting with an "Aw, how cute!" demeanor...as though the dads are adorable, breathtaking little puppies whose caretaking of their own children is somehow exotic and curious.

That just speaks to the reality of how we need to make it the norm for nurture within fatherhood to become just as much of a societal norm and expectation as it currently is for motherhood.
