James, I appreciate your expanded dialogue on this. I guess, for me, it doesn't really matter whether biblical actors were actively preaching against homosexuality or genuinely brainwashed into believing it was "immoral."

Either way, we know better now. What they did or didn't say, or what they did or didn't actually believe, should be irrelevant to our own modern-day critical thinking capabilities.
