Jean, I'd be interesting in hearing a lengthier recollection or illustration of the following dynamic you described having experienced:
"There is another way. I have participated in a racial dialogue where we as nondominants were actually listened to. At first, we were astonished that others cared enough to listen. Eventually, after several weeks of this, we became curious about the experiences of the dominants. The freedom, joy, and eventual love that resulted are hard to describe."
Any chance you'd consider extrapolating on this example (as, for lack of a better term, sort of a "case study"), as part of maybe a future standalone piece? Changing the names/identities of the venue or participants, in order to protect the privacy of the people involved, of course.
