Jeff, I share some of your sentiments. I just disagree that getting rid of the term "feminism" and replacing it with something else (another word) is necessarily constructive or wise.
My preference would be to show support to ACTUAL feminists (*not* the women who claim to be "feminists" but are really peddling agendas for female superiority) -- and then to add "masculism" to the mix, as an intentional movement centered on male worldliness...men nurturing other men! Obviously, a certain archetype of toxic men aren't going to go for that -- but, quite frankly, I really don't care about winning their approval.
