Jim, it sounds to me as though you don't want to even consider the possibility that systemic racism is a very specific type of racism that only BIPOC Americans can experience, and that you appear to be clinging to a predetermined thesis that systemic racism is a "myth."

Now, regarding reparations...you have a point if you're referring to people who simply believe that every Black person should receive a five/six-figure personal check from the federal government in perpetuity. I don't support that, either. But that isn't the only form of reparations that could be explored. Reparations can be done in many different ways. Are you open to hearing some of the alternate proposals beyond just the specific concept of reparations that seems to get caricatured by the media?
