I'm NOT going to put friends of color on-the-spot just so others can feel good about their own virtue-signaling. If I know a friend well enough that I suspect they WANT to discuss racial trauma, then maybe I'd broach the subject in that specific scenario. Otherwise, I'm not treating them like tokens in order to make some sort of statement.

People can go ahead and accuse me of being racist -- but, quite frankly, it's ABLEIST to expect White people who have mental/cognitive disabilities to make ourselves (and potentially BIPOC) uncomfortable just for the sake of trying to prove how we can "be uncomfortable"...
