Katy -- I join you in calling out Michael for (inappropriately and ignorantly) using "transgenders" as a noun.

But, no -- you (or anybody else, including the author of this piece) do not get to determine what is an "acceptable" standard for anybody else's sexual attraction. You are committing the same type of sin (an inversion of it) they we already come to expect from heterosexist traditionalists.
