Kevin -- the impression I got wasn't that she automatically felt entitled to auto-curation due to her quantity of followers per se, but moreso an inflated sense of paranoia that she was being singled out by Medium's algorithm because her pieces "needed to be read" by the masses -- and, by reducing her rates of curation, Medium was somehow "selling out" to a more centrist perspective.

I could be misreading whether that's actually how she felt -- but this author had such a galling sense of self-importance that I wouldn't put it past her.
