L.E. -- you've identified really what the core of the problem is: individual educators who abuse their role as CRT teachers to intentionally try to indoctrinate White students with guilt-ridden or shame-ridden ideologies, RATHER THAN spurring constructive discourse within the classroom under the framework of CRT discussions.

In other words: it isn't *all* CRT scholars who are doing this, and it probably isn't even *most* CRT scholars who are doing this...but it's a vocal handful of bad apples who are corrupting the premise of CRT in order to use students as vessels through which to process their own self-loathing.
