Looks like you hit a nerve with a few people here. That says a lot more about THEM than it does about you, Misty.

I definitely agree with the core message of this piece. I will say that I (perhaps too often) give the benefit-of-the-doubt to women who make statements about men without using the qualifiers of "some," "most," or "all" -- because I imagine it gets tedious having to constantly qualify yourself in that manner (although I individually have no problem doing it, in my own writing).

But there are female provocateurs (including many right here on Medium) who blatantly and ostentatiously seem to savor the excuse to say "ALL men."

They'll even be like, "Yes, I said it. Yes, ALL men..."

Whether this is a performative tactic intended as clickbait on their part, or if it actually represents who they ARE in terms of their toxic misandrist souls...it needs to be called out, either way.

And, yes, #MeToo -- yes, I said it!
