I'm a "cusper," too. I'm on the edge of Gens X & Y (a "Xennial").

Members of Gen Z are frequently called "Zoomers" throughout the United States, and often called "Centennials" throughout much of Europe and Latin America.

What I meant was that BOTH "Boomers" and "Millennials" should be capitalized, in practice, throughout our society's vernacular and grammar. It signifies respect and equity for the members of both generations who contribute great things to the world.

Have you read the book "Can't Even" by Anne Helen Peterson? She gives a comprehensive analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data showing generational trauma amongst Millennials that is quite often dismissed/marginalized by society in general. Comparatively, Xers and Zoomers are FAR less stigmatized than Millennials; granted, there is also a lot of unfair stigmatization against many Baby Boomers, as well -- but they hold the most institutional power out of all five living generations...so Millennials are presently getting the short end of the stick.
