What I'm hearing (from you) is that men have an inherent responsibility to stand up for ourselves, as well as an inherent responsibility to protect women?

By contrast, women only need to be encouraged to support one another, and lift each other up?

Is this what you're saying? Or have I totally misinterpreted your words? Are you saying that women are being unnecessarily "coddled" by society, insofar as forming those support systems?
