My point is that this anti-LGBT legislation is going to backfire on the Far Right (not just Florida Republicans, but coast-to-coast) -- as soon as a teacher somewhere gets fired by a public school for allowing a student to confide in them about their sexuality, and the story goes viral / becomes a national headline.
