Nope, you're not bothering me at all. I'm accustomed to thinking about these issues on a daily basis -- because, even though people would tell me I have the luxury of NOT thinking about them (if I choose not to) due to being White and male, I'm just naturally an extensive thinker -- so I began developing more advanced theories and frameworks ever since really learning about white privilege (and what it means) during my earliest college days.

I've always been resentful and contemptuous toward the DiAngelo-style "hyperwokeness" and those who peddle it (I was keeping tabs on it before anybody even knew who Robin DiAngelo was)...largely because they seem to think they're providing this magnanimous service of "educating" people, when they're really just driving people away and fanning the flames of Trumpism with their warped conception of "empathy." But now that they've perforated the seal of public consciousness, it's clear to me that we have a real battle on our hands.
