Obviously, in this case, this individual plagiarized your entire article's content verbatim (or almost verbatim). They deserved to be banned, for that alone.

Have you read Marilyn Flower's recent account about the plagiarism accusation she'd received from Medium via email? She thinks it may have been generated or triggered by a bot.

Fortunately, it sounds as though Medium at least sent her a screenshot/link along with the canned wording of the "warning email."

My fear is: how bad is it going to get? Will we reach the point where Medium begins suspending/banning people solely based on hearsay from random trolls/twerps, rather than an assessment by an actual human on Medium's staff?
