A big part of what many people are objecting to is the utter hypocrisy...how a certain subset of people on the Left seem to be engaging in premature mental gymnastics to make excuses for Governor Cuomo before the investigation can even be completed. How many of those same people would be giving the same benefit-of-doubt to Ron DeSantis or Greg Gianforte (both of whom I believe should resign, for other reasons that, so far, they haven't had to answer for) if either of those Republican Governors were facing the same types of allegations that Cuomo is facing?

I'm with the camp that says: let the investigation be conducted, and then we evaluate things from that point.
