Reading this book was, in some ways, a predictable experience. Since I was so accustomed to hearing the narrative style and values-based voice of Justin Baldoni from his extended string of appearances last year on The Talk, I sort of had an idea of what to expect. And a lot of the types of things I’d anticipated he’d say…he did, indeed, say.

Sometimes with my emphatic agreement. Other times, with critical protest from me.

To unpack the experience, I want to do a broad-based recap of what I learned from reading this book…and the value (or lack thereof) I got out of each chapter.
