1.) Would you say that getting above a 50% average read ratio is unrealistic EVEN FOR the most popular writers on this platform?
2.) What is your rationale for why you believe a piece below 40% average read ratio has missed the mark? Why 40%, specifically?
3.) Another writer recommended to me the approach of occasionally self-publishing shortform pieces of 1-4 minutes, and then keeping them "unmetered" so anyone can read them without hitting the paywall, ostensibly as a way to increase readership and provide snapshots of free content that could entice new readers to sign up for Medium. Do you have any thoughts on this concept?
