Please go back and re-read the first three paragraphs of my article. Was my facetious tone not apparent when criticizing much of the canned rhetoric we hear from some parts of the Left?
When I rattled off that (bullet-pointed) five-point list of common phrases we hear from the hyperwoke echo chamber, I prefaced it by referring to them as "empty platitudes."
And then, I immediately followed it up by specifying how that list of sample phrasing "is neither fair nor practical."
How much clearer could I have made it that I was rejecting these sorts of hyperwoke talking-points while simultaneously trying to find a better alternative of what allyship should mean?
I honestly want to know...so I can avoid confusing people when I write future pieces.
