Raphael -- My apologies if I was implying that sexual orientationism, in and of itself, doesn't have adverse effects in the lives of most gay men and lesbians.

Rather, my intent was to frame my experience as a gay and autistic person through the lens of the intersection that orientationism and ableism has dually had on so many facets of my life. I hope that clarifies it.
