But then the question becomes...

"What CAN be done by straight people who value queer people?"

You didn't really broach THAT question, in your article.

There's probably a long list of potential actions...but I'd say the starting point would be: Speak out AGAINST anti-Queer legislation and oppose all of the lawmakers (or aspiring candidates!) who support it.
