So you don't think it would be likewise beneficial for *me* to live in a world where people are treated with dignity and respect? (the opposite of the world in which we all currently live) -- that, somehow, social equality or equity must actively cause HARM to me because I'm White and male?

I'm perplexed as to why you have such qualms about effective messaging when it comes to helping ignorant people better understand the concept of systemic racism. Is it just a pathological need for you to be in control of the situation?

I agree with you that Republicans and other right-wing groups are going to vilify ANY reasonable attempts at debate. The remedy for that is to call them out on their intellectual dishonesty so that everyone with common sense will be able to plainly see what they're doing -- rather than match their arrogance by appealing to an inverted version of the lowest-common denominator.

And you're also right that a majority of people probably don't know what a "Kafka trap" is. At least, they wouldn't know how to label it as such. But it's a very common manipulative technique. It's a sly iteration of the "You're-Either-With-Me-or-Against-Me" threat. Whether we call it "Kafka" or "bullshit" -- it's just the same old human deception.
