Everyone has some combination of advantages and disadvantages in life. The beauty of intersectionality is realizing how everyone's experience is going to be truly distinct in terms of how the individual's combination of privilege and oppression collides -- and in what ways that collision occurs. Once we understand those truths, we can work on solutions.
