My favorite time of year has arrived: Survivor time! Now entering its forty-eighth season (the eighth of its post-COVID “new era”), CBS’s flagship reality franchise will return for its spring edition. Once again, all episodes will run at least ninety minutes — which has been the trend ever since Survivor: Trial by Grit (Season 45). This spring, Survivor returns alongside ninety-minute episodes of The Amazing Race (now going into in its thirty-seventh season). The latter won’t premiere until the first week of March; but Survivor returns on Wednesday, February 26 beginning at 8:00 P.M. Eastern/Pacific.

Likewise, for the eighth consecutive season, I’m continuing my tradition of writing pre-season teasers and post-season recaps. Here are the ones I’d published from the past seven seasons:

Survivor: Elemental Monsters (Season 41) | PREVIEW & RECAP

Survivor: Jungle Wars (Season 42) | PREVIEW & RECAP

Survivor: Savage Life (Season 43) | PREVIEW & RECAP

Survivor: Free Radicals (Season 44) | PREVIEW & RECAP
