‘Survivor: Izadega’ — Recapping Season 48
The 48th season of “Survivor” tested our observational abilities, as viewers, amidst alpha dogs battling it out
Fans of Survivor had mixed reactions to Season 48. As the eighth installment of the franchise’s “new era,” much of the season’s editing focused on a core group of allies who claimed to prioritize strength and loyalty. Of course, like with any season of Survivor…some of them were ultimately forced to turn on each other.
In continuing my post-season recaps, I’ve also maintained my tradition of giving each “new era” season a distinct subtitle once the winner has been crowned. Since 2021, my retroactive titles for these most recent Survivor seasons have been:
Season 41 — Survivor: Elemental Monsters
Season 42 — Survivor: Jungle Wars
Season 43 — Survivor: Savage Life
Season 44 — Survivor: Free Radicals
Season 45 — Survivor: Trial by Grit
Season 46 — Survivor: New World Disorder

My choice for renaming Season 48 ended up being pretty straightforward…
