Thank you for replying in-depth, Pavane. I should qualify my perspective by adding that, as someone on the autism spectrum, I perhaps cry more often than the "average" man *or* woman does. And I frequently feel a lot of guilt about it...as in, not wanting to be a burden on those around me.

But I do believe, from personal conversations I have with other men, that even men who are "less emotional" than me will cry in private...they're just scared to show that vulnerable side of themselves to the rest of the world in public.
