Yes, I spent MONTHS compiling a vast array of different articles on masculinity and related issues (pieces that I'd discovered, at various points, amidst my wanderings on this platform), in preparation for this piece (which I already knew I'd write, eventually, even before I began formally publishing anything on Medium). Then I had to decide which ones to cut from the final draft, so the whole thing wouldn't run 15-20+ minutes.
