I wasn't trying to excuse the mindsets of lemmings who vote for someone JUST BECAUSE there's an "R" or a "D" after the candidate's name. Obviously, I reject that sectarian reductionism.

Rather, I was saying that it's okay to vote for some Democrats or some Republicans, but the individual voter ought to at least take some time to learn about the candidate whom they're voting for. That's all.
