That would have been an ideal scenario, several centuries ago. But our society has baked in so many of these sexual/gendered stigmas, it's pretty hard to unring that bell.

What I'm trying to offer is a way forward; although many people might make the argument that many of the concepts I'm promoting are offshoots/iterations of humanism.
