That's fair. My intent wasn't any expectation that you should instantly turn yourself into an expert on autism, of course. Rather, I was suggesting that you merely start a conversation: Once you've defined and reiterated what you mean by "emotional maturity" and "emotional intelligence," propose some concepts or theories as to how those skills might be taught differently to people on the autism spectrum. Those of us on the spectrum can pipe up and offer our feedback, reactions, or additional ideas.
