The "Bobbit jokes" are definitely a toxic double standard promoting misandry.

I didn't mean that literally every TV program should have a main cast member (or several) who is LGBT. Some of those characters can be recurring roles or regular guest stars, depending on the storyline. Would we tolerate a sitcom or drama series with an all-White main cast, and no regular or semi-regular characters (even if minor characters) who are Black, Indigenous, Latinx, or APIDA?
