The difference between what actors are saying and what comedians are saying is that actors are obviously engaging in a scripted performance to tell a story. Comedians are using humor to engage in social commentary. If an actor says something ridiculous outside of filming a TV show or movie, then they can (and should) be called out on it.

If a comedian's comedic speech is so sloppy that they failed to adequately make their point, then they have fallen short as a comedian. They certainly can try to bring laughter to trauma and stress and oppression...but if their comedy isn't done well, they shouldn't be surprised if there's a backlash. And if they're unwilling to engage in dialogue when it comes to the substance of people's criticisms, then that tells me they weren't actually very sincere about trying to breach that realm of social commentary in the first place.
