The last time I checked, individuals don't inflict bad weather or cancer clusters upon another person with intentionality. That's an awful comparison.

And now you're getting into wealth inequality. People on the Left would jump in, here, and claim that the solution is socialism or communism or at least some form of UBI. I'm skeptical that those policies are the end-all-and-be-all to our problems. But even amongst wealthy people: Not everyone acquires/builds their fortune in the exact same manner; and, once they are rich, they still have personal agency over how they spend their money. A philanthropic rich person shouldn't be held culpable for the misdeeds of a hedonistic rich person.
