The needs and issues uniquely faced by Black, Indigenous, & People of Color barely get any mention in mainstream media (outside of passing references), as it is.

I don't understand other White people who are so squeamish about criticizing the actions/beliefs of ancestors whom they've never even MET...

I mean, I take my own parents to task practically everyday for something as (seemingly) minor as misusing the term "millennial" (including the offensive lack of capitalization). So I'd have absolutely no qualms about excoriating my great-great-great-great-great-grandfather, post-humously, if I learned (through historical records) that he was indeed a slaveowner or a supporter of segregation.
