The people who want to unilaterally control the definition of racism (referring only to the systemic forms of it) are never going to accept that. In their view, if something bad happens to a member of a majority group, it's never "as bad" as when it happens to someone from the corresponding minority group.

So, while I understand that your inclination is to try to meet them where they are -- you have to remember that many of these cultists simply can't be reasoned with, in the first place.
