The pro-agriculture / crop sustainability provisions are there, in the current version of the GND...the problem is that they never quite make it into the overall narrative itself.
Too many climate activists seem fixated on trying to force middle-of-the-road voters to become passionate about "carbon emissions" (and the prospect of lowering them). Hint: they will never get excited about that.
People will get excited, however, about the prospect of more affordable and more accessible groceries...and the local/regional job creation that inevitably accompanies a diversification of homegrown food commodities.
