There is actually no universal consensus on the purported exclusivity this particular narrow definition of racism.

This reductionist definition of racism is, in fact, referring to the specific epidemic of SYSTEMIC RACISM. Many academics and sociologists have just gotten too lazy to keep adding the word "systemic" in front of it (apparently, uttering three extra syllables is too arduous of a task for them to endure). That, and many of them have the nefarious agenda of intentionally minimizing ANY forms of aggression, violence, or gaslighting against White people as merely "prejudice."

Words do matter...and they know it. These academic elitists aren't always as dumb as they sound.
