There's some nuance that you're missing, here.
I believe the Bible is largely based on mistruths...but that deception has been driven by humans who authored and transcribed the Bible for centuries -- hypothetically changing, editing, and inserting new words into whatever may have been the original Scripture. And, even parts of the original Scripture could have been partially made up by the original authors.
It doesn't mean every single biblical event depicted in the Bible is false. Just that we can never really know which ones are and which ones aren't. It doesn't "prove" or "disprove" the existence of one omnipotent Supreme Being any moreso than my own religious beliefs "prove" or "disprove" the existence of multiple deities.
