They want to have their cake and eat it too.

They want girls/women to be protected, uplifted, praised, celebrated, and venerated. At the same time, they want boys/men to risk our lives, reputations, privilege, and personal safety defending the opposite sex -- but then, we're supposed to be subservient and deferential to the women in our lives while taking passive-aggressive potshots at ourselves (or standing their in silence while the male gender as a whole is denigrated).

It's really fucked up. It's neofemism being passed off as actual "feminism."
