May I add something? I'd also like to point out, for any readers who are skeptical of your article, that so many intersectional categories THEMSELVES get ignored and marginalized. Perceived beauty. Whether someone is gender-conforming or gender-nonconforming. Age or generational cohort. Regional/geographic residence. Profession or quantity of educational credentials. Etc., etc., etc.

Why do we hear so little about those categories? Because it would force people to decenter themselves from the narrative, in many cases.
