This is just an inquisitive question for both heterosexual women and heterosexual men out there: have you considered "side sex"?

I'm a gay man, so I don't have any role in the exchange of heterosexual intimacy. But there is a subset of us gay dudes who consider ourselves "sides" in that we don't enjoy any penetrative sexual activities (mainly "topping" or "bottoming").

And I know even less about lesbian sex, but I would imagine many lesbian women partake in similar/parallel intimacy with their girlfriends & wives.

Have straight people considered trying prolonged intense intimacy WITHOUT the anal penetration?
