This is where so many leftists make themselves look like fools, with the fallacy of "Black people can say it whenever and however they want!"
If two Black people are using the N-word as a term of endearment to banter and poke fun at one another, consensually -- then I agree it's obviously a reclamatory context, and White people have no place in monitoring/regulating that usage.
On the other hand, if one Black person uses the N-word as invective against another Black person to specifically tear them down and exhibit malice, then *THAT* is clearly racist. Yes, even if both people are Black. The existence of an "even playing field" is irrelevant, here; one person is still weaponizing the other person's racial status against them as a way to bully and/or intimidate.
I do agree that White people -- and other non-Black people of color -- should never use it.
