This piece resonated with me, in so many places.
I suppose I've gotten to the point in my life where the biggest thing I glean, from the people who tormented me throughout my youth, is how I can use those experiences to empower OTHER PEOPLE (younger generations) from having to endure the same dynamics nowadays.
I've seen it in both directions. Some bullies do change for the better. Other bullies remain bogged down in their own toxicity well into adulthood. Yet others, I'll never know what became of them...it could be the first scenario, or the second, or a combination of the two...
Ultimately, it comes down to how much self-reflection they're willing to engage in.
