Very true! It's also a testament to how there appears to be an ideological schism (or multiple schisms) within each individual generational cohort -- for example, Baby Boomers who embraced progressive ideas found within various counterculture movements versus the Baby Boomers who rejected those ideas and emulated the conservatism for which many of their own elders were known. It's yet another reason why we cannot rely on generational stereotypes to tell us the full story.
