You didn't owe me any explanation regarding your personal schedule. I wasn't going to hound you for a response, if you were legitimately busy. That's the beauty of the Internet: if people have time to reply, they'll reply. If they've got other stuff going on, they'll get back to it whenever they get back to it. Don't be a martyr.

I *have* treated you like an individual. I've responded to all of your major points. I've concurred with you (and others who aren't even posting here) when I've agreed with several of your entirely valid points. I've dissented wherever I felt you might be off-base, as you likewise have with me. Part of it could be our inability to fully understand the intent behind one another's points, as so often happens in life and during discourse. No big deal -- we just clarify, and continue the discussion to whatever degree is feasible. But you were also trying to preemptively nip *that* in the bud; pick an avenue -- either you do want to continue to have a good-faith discussion, or nothing else (positive or negative) needs to be said.
