Well, he wasn't exactly "transferred" to another class -- this happened in April of 1997, and there were only maybe 6-8 weeks of the school year remaining. Brandon got removed from our 8th Hour class and placed in study hall during that time for what remained of the semester. He would have to retake Freshman Physical Education (for credit) during one of the two semesters of his sophomore year, along with taking a separate session of Sophomore Physical Education.
Technically, I don't even know if he graduated. I do know that Brandon went into the military once he reached the legal age. He was a terrible student, so it's not like he would have been able to get into college (except MAYBE a community college or tech school). Also, Mrs. Weber told me that when his aunt/guardian, Sadie, was confronted with her nephew's behavior having been called into the (vice-)principal's office, she actually reprimanded her own nephew and angrily demanded to know from him, "Why would you do that to another kid?!" So his guardian herself didn't make excuses for his assault of me.
